Two women were brutally beaten following their protest at a Muslim conference in Pontoise, France. The women have been identified as members of FEMEN, a European feminist group founded in Ukraine in 2008, although their personal identities have not been revealed.

The women, who took to the stage topless, had written on their chests in French ‘ “No one can enslave me, no one can possess me, I’m my own prophet”. One of the women was quickly taken away, while the other woman was pushed, falling of stage, at which point a barrage of men stomped, kicked and beat her.
